The 195-bed, not-for-profit hospital is an acute care and surgical facility that is home to a level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), a maternal-fetal medicine program and a comprehensive series of classes for expecting parents.

Nearby institutions of higher education include Milwaukee Area Technical College and regional campuses of Sanford-Brown, Marian University, Viterbo University and Lakeland College.
