The Opportunity

Ob Hospitalist Group has partnered with this facility to develop and manage a program that provides 24/7 emergent care to expectant mothers.

As an OBHG hospitalist, you are the in-house expert whose advanced clinical skill and ability to handle any OB emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.

You will work closely with local OB/GYNs to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician, every time.

Hospital Information

The 402-bed hospital is an acute care and surgical facility serves the Birmingham community. It is home to a level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), private labor/delivery rooms and post-partum rooms, and educational classes for new parents. 

The Location

Birmingham is located in Jefferson County, Alabama. It is the state's largest city with more than 1.1 million residents in the metropolitan area.

The city's economy is powered by manufacturing, education, healthcare, banking, telecommunications, insurance, construction and engineering.

Birmingham is served by Interstates 20, 65, 59, 22 and 45; the Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority bus, trolley and paratransit system; and the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport.
