"What makes OBHG stand out is their knowledge of how to run a program and get quality physicians. I would trust our four OBHG hospitalists with my own family."

A Shared Vision of Quality Care

At Ob Hospitalist Group, we’re driven by a vision: Elevating the Standard of Women’s Healthcare. Quality patient care, patient safety and satisfaction are at the heart of everything we do. We know these principles guide every private OB/GYN physician as well. An OBHG program assists private physicians in delivering quality care and desirable outcomes by providing the following patient care advantages:

OB/GYN Physician Coverage 24 Hours a Day, 365 Days a Year

OBHG programs are staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by highly skilled physicians. Our coverage provides an additional 8,760 hours of dedicated OB/GYN physician support to staff nurses and physicians and ensures patients will be treated by either their private physician or an OBHG hospitalist during every visit.

Timely Physician Evaluation / Triage

Our hospitalists assist in delivering timely triage for every woman presenting to the Labor and Delivery department. For your unscheduled patients, OBHG hospitalists can determine appropriate emergent care or admission. When your patient is ready to be admitted, you will be notified, allowing you to continue to see office patients until you’re needed at the hospital.

Consistent Care for Unassigned and Uninsured Patients

OBHG hospitalists are compensated equally for all patient care. We welcome the role of providing quality care for unassigned or uninsured patients, reducing the workload for your staff physicians. Providing hospitalist care for these patients allows physicians to care for their own patients at the hospital or in their offices.

Rapid Response for Emergency Care

When an emergency occurs or an urgent surgical assist need arises, our hospitalist is on-site, ready to respond with life-saving intervention. The presence of a full-time OBHG hospitalist in your Labor and Delivery department will improve patient outcomes and decrease liability.

As we pursue our vision for elevating women’s healthcare, OBHG focuses on quality, safety and consistency of care, but we offer much more than a simple laborist staffing model. Since our first hospitalist program in 2006, we have collaborated with hospital administrators, nursing teams and our highly skilled physicians to develop customized and comprehensive OB/GYN hospitalist programs.

We invite you to discover more about OBHG and the advantages that our customized programs deliver to our partner hospitals, physicians and patients. An OBHG representative would be happy to answer any questions you have as well. Or schedule a consultation today!
