Dr. Kristen Innes has the best of both worlds. She balances a fulfilling career as an OBHG Diplomat hospitalist with a diverse travel schedule in which she enjoys going on family adventures.
But it wasn’t always that way. Previously, Dr. Innes had been running a private OB/GYN practice when she decided to transition to hospitalist life. Her decision primarily centered on work/life balance.
Dr. Innes became an OBHG Diplomat clinician and hasn’t looked back. She enjoys the excitement of working in new surroundings and working with different hospitals, physicians, and environments. She also enjoys her free time to pursue her passions and travels with her family.
“When I am done with my shift, I have no responsibilities until the next shift. My son asked me after a longer break at home between shifts if I was retired!” — Dr. Kristen Innes, Diplomat program physician, Ob Hospitalist Group
Learn about her journey as an OBHG Diplomat.
Ob Hospitalist Group’s elite Diplomat program gives OB/GYNs an opportunity to practice medicine in partner hospitals across the country while earning a competitive salary comparable to private practice.
With no on-call scheduling, clinicians are free to live their life outside of the hospital (and the office!) once they have completed their shifts. Our programs are tailored to each hospital’s specific needs and each program provides a distinctive clinical experience.
