Ob Hospitalist Group named to Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies for the seventh consecutive year
Greenville, S.C.– Ob Hospitalist Group (OBHG), the nation’s largest and only dedicated provider of customized OB hospitalist programs, has been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately held companies in the U.S. for the seventh consecutive year.
Dubbed as a list of “the most successful companies in America,” the Inc. 5000 is widely considered a standard of excellence for organizational growth and financial success. The 2019 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to verified percentage revenue growth when comparing 2015 and 2018.
OBHG ranked 4216 on the 2019 list, partially due to a 74 percent growth in revenue during the last three years. Last month, OBHG announced that the company has grown to more than 1,000 employees nationwide, with clinicians making up the majority (nearly 80 percent) of OBHG's workforce.
Founded in 2006, OBHG’s national network has grown to include more than 800 dedicated OB clinicians in approximately 150 hospitals across 33 states. This growth means more expectant mothers have access to immediate care when presenting to the hospital with obstetrical needs.
“To be named to the Inc. 5000 list seven years in a row is quite an honor,” said OBHG CEO Lenny Castiglione. “We’ve seen a rapidly escalating demand for OB hospitalist medicine which has resulted in an expansion of our network. I’m proud that with our growing base of hospital partners, clinicians and support team members, our OB hospitalists are able to provide the outstanding care that they provide to even more women and babies.”
