Ob Hospitalist Group (OBHG) announces that Mark N. Simon, MD, MMM, CPE, and Bruce Selman, MD, PhD, will speak at the Council of University Chairs of Obstetrics and Gynecology (CUCOG) Annual Meeting and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting, respectively. The CUCOG Annual Meeting will be held Friday, May 13, 2016, at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C. It is held in conjunction with the ACOG Annual Meeting, which runs May 14-17, 2016, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
Dr. Simon, VP for Medical Affairs for OBHG, will be one of three panelists in The Laborist Paradigm: Coming at Us Cordless! session, which will focus on the development, management, finances, and success of laborist programs. Dr. Simon joined Ob Hospitalist Group in 2009 and served as a full-time OB/GYN hospitalist at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Washington, prior to being named VP for Medical Affairs.
Dr. Selman will be participating on a three-physician panel as part of The Subspecialty Society Session: Society of OB/GYN Hospitalists (SOGH) occurring on Sunday, May 15. The panel will be a comparison and contrast of OB/GYN hospitalist models and allow the physicians the opportunity to share their views, experience, and insights. Dr. Selman joined OBHG in 2014 and serves as a full-time OB/GYN hospitalist at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia.
“As the nation’s leading provider of OB/GYN hospitalist services, Drs. Simon and Selman are outstanding representatives of OBHG’s network of more than 450 physicians across the country working to elevate the standard of women’s healthcare,” said OBHG CEO Lenny Castiglione. “Our hospitalists are the cornerstone of this mission and, as such, one of our most valuable resources.”
