The Opportunity

Ob Hospitalist Group Site Directors perform an important dual clinical/professional role: ensuring their program is achieving clinical and operational objectives and guiding the hospitalist team.

Part of the OBHG leadership team, the site director reports to the Medical Director of Operations, and collaborates with the MDO to deliver excellent care, build and maintain relationships and oversee the program’s financial health.

Responsibilities include working five or more Hospitalist shifts each month, and traveling to address hospital and operational priorities as needed.

Hospital Information

CHRISTUS St. Francis Cabrini Hospital, founded in 1950, is part of the Catholic, non-profit CHRISTUS Health system. Now a 255-bed facility that serves nearly 400k residents in Central Louisiana, it has received numerous awards for excellent care - including the Shining Star designation for maternity care, the Breastfeeding-Friendly Workplace Champion award, and the GIFT breastfeeding designation. The hospital performs about 1,100 deliveries each year.

The Location

Alexandria is a town located in the heart of Central Louisiana, about two hours from Shreveport, an hour and 20 minutes from Lafayette, and just over three hours from New Orleans. The parish seat of Rapides Parish, the city sits on the south banks of the Red River.

Cultural events and venues include the Alexandria Museum of Art, the Louisiana History Museum, and the Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center.
