The Opportunity

OBHG Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any OB emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.

This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.

As a clinician-centered company, OBHG provides unparalleled support and resources and superior work/life balance. Full-time Hospitalists have the freedom to create their own schedules – typically eight 24-hour shifts per month – with no on-call duty or office management.

Hospital Information

Founded as Brockton Hospital in 1896, Signature Healthcare Brockton is the oldest and largest inpatient facility in its service area, which includes the city of Brockton and twenty-one surrounding municipalities. The community-based, not-for-profit teaching hospital sees about 1,500 deliveries each year.

Its Maternal-Newborn Pavilion offers unique accommodations and amenities for expectant mothers and families, along with a private surgical suite and Level II NICU. The facility also provides midwifery, 24/7 anesthesia, and on-site perinatology services in collaboration with Tufts Medical Center.

Brockton Hospital has been designated as Baby-Friendly, and is recognized as a Blue Distinction Center+ for Maternity Care by BlueCross BlueShield of Massachusetts.

The Location

Brockton, Massachusetts is located in Plymouth County just 45 minutes from Boston.
