"The difference in quality of care with OBHG is night and day. For example, we track missed deliveries very closely (the rate of live births not delivered by a Board Certified physician). These incidents have gone from 5% in 2007 to 1% in 2009 under OBHG."

– Director, Women’s Center at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, FL

Leonard (Lenny) Castiglione,
Chief Executive Officer

Leonard (Lenny) Castiglione joined Ob Hospitalist Group as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in 2015. Mr. Castiglione joins OBHG with 23 years of healthcare service experience. He most recently served as CEO of Florida Gulf to Bay Anesthesia Holdings, LLC in Tampa, Florida, and previously held a variety of senior executive positions with US Oncology.

Lenny has spent his entire career advancing healthcare and possesses a uniquely well-rounded perspective, having represented all three layers of healthcare: the provider side, hospital side and payor side.

One of his primary objectives at OBHG is to leverage our current position as the leader in women’s healthcare, to build a more robust national platform that engages hospitals on a system-wide basis. He also oversees the ongoing management of our current hospital partners to ensure we are providing genuine service to hospitals, local providers and patients by delivering excellence with every encounter.

He earned a Bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University and a Master’s in Health Systems Management from Tulane University. In his free time, Lenny enjoys traveling to far away destinations to explore new cultures with his wife, Hande.
