Amy VanBlaricom, MD,
Medical Director of Operations

Dr. Amy VanBlaricom joined Ob Hospitalist Group’s management staff in October 2016 as a Medical Director of Operations. She provides clinical management support for OBHG programs in the northwestern United States and Colorado. She is based in Seattle, Washington.

Dr. VanBlaricom has served in multiple leadership roles, including Team Lead, with OBHG partner hospitals in California. She spent nine years teaching at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she was Medical Director of the gynecology clinic as well as Associate Residency Program Director. In that role, she co-developed the surgical skills curriculum for the residency program, which became a national standard for best practices. 

She served for 10 years on the Surgical Scholars faculty for APGO, a professional organization for OB/GYN educators, and co-directed the program for three years before establishing a private practice in 2007. In 2014, she transitioned into hospitalist work with OBHG.
